Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary client point of contact, responding to inquiries and concerns and maintaining strong client relationships through timely communication.
  • •Lead mechanical engineering delivery for hyperscale data centers, coordinating disciplines and managing the mechanical team across HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
  • •Develop detailed mechanical equipment specifications (e.g., pumps, fans, air handling units) and ensure discipline plans meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • •Provide technical support during construction by responding to RFIs, addressing issues, and supporting compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • •Analyze mechanical system performance and energy usage to identify improvements and recommend upgrades, technologies, and equipment to reduce operational costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design/engineering focused on data center infrastructure (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer License (P.E.) is required.
  • •Extensive experience in mechanical engineering for data centers or other critical facilities.
  • •Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and fire suppression systems design and construction.
  • •Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software, plus strong leadership and communication skills.
