Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, hire, mentor, and grow a team of ~10 Forward Deployed Engineers, building a culture of technical excellence and execution.
  • •Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to shape complex engagements that deliver business outcomes.
  • •Guide teams through end-to-end solution delivery from discovery and architecture through implementation, deployment, and enablement.
  • •Act as the senior technical escalation point, staying hands-on for architecture reviews and high-stakes technical calls.
  • •Improve repeatability and scale by developing reusable delivery patterns, best practices, technical assets, and team processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading, hiring, and developing high-performing technical teams in customer-facing environments.
  • •Hands-on technical credibility to review designs, debug production issues, and act as final technical escalation.
  • •Strong background in data engineering, big data systems, and production data platform delivery.
  • •Fluency in Python and SQL, with familiarity with distributed processing (Apache Spark) and JVM languages (Scala/Java).
  • •Fluent Japanese is required and business-level English is required.
