Key Responsibilities

  • •Vaccinate GP chickens and support GP product servicing activities.
  • •Move pullets and move Spike males as part of daily farm operations.
  • •Operate high-pressure and regular water hose systems, maintain foot pans and hand sanitizers, and clean and disinfect Cobb vehicles.
  • •Assist farm caretakers with gathering eggs, daily flock care (feed and water), house setup, grounds maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
  • •Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all required safety policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
  • •If laid off or providing child/elder care, employment gap can be up to 18 months in the past 36 months.
  • •Must follow biosecurity/animal welfare requirements, including showering and changing clothing/footwear before entering the facility and signing required agreements.
  • •No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except medical ID jewelry (and piercings must be covered by appropriate clothing).
  • •Must be willing and able to perform physical job requirements, including regularly lifting/moving up to 30 pounds and sometimes up to 100 pounds.
