Key Responsibilities

  • •Own complex AI systems and lead multi-person workstreams end to end, making key design decisions for critical agents, copilots, and platform services in your domains.
  • •Design agentic systems with production rigor across orchestration, tool use, capability boundaries, memory/state, evaluation, observability, guardrails, and cost per completed task.
  • •Drive the quality, evaluation, and observability standards across the team, including incident response and operational discipline for non-deterministic outputs.
  • •Contribute high-leverage code to the internal AI platform and evolve implementation “paved paths” in partnership with the architect.
  • •Serve as primary technical partner to business owners, translating ambiguous problems into scoped, shipped systems with outcomes that can be measured.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex production systems and leading design and delivery.
  • •Deep hands-on AI expertise with modern AI systems, including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, agents/tool use, and evaluation plus LLMOps practices.
  • •Experience building or operating agentic systems in production, including orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel), Model Context Protocol tooling, vector stores, and runtime guardrails.
  • •Strong production fundamentals in at least one language (Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java) and cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, serverless, APIs, event-driven patterns, observability).
  • •Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into well-bounded, scoped systems with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • •Mentoring experience and demonstrated ability to raise a team’s technical bar without formal authority.
