Job Summary

Plan, direct, and oversee environmental consulting work with WSP’s Earth & Environment team, supporting public and private clients. Lead program-level technical and administrative project delivery, mentor environmental scientists and engineers, and ensure compliance with federal/state environmental regulations and health & safety standards. Prepare technical reports and presentations for hydrogeological characterization, assessments, and environmental compliance, while driving business development and marketing to capture new clients. Travel to project sites primarily in the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, oversee, and mentor environmental scientists and engineers working on environmental projects/programs.
•Provide technical review, oversight, and mentoring to assure compliance with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements, and specifications.
•Manage projects technically and administratively, including coordinating cross-functional teams on scopes, schedules, and budgets.
•Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations on research, findings, and recommendations related to chemical and environmental concerns and State/Federal regulations.
•Plan and direct business development and marketing strategies, and represent WSP with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geosciences, or a closely related discipline.
•10+ years of related experience.
•Ability to pursue and develop clients in public or private sectors.
•Proficient in project management and/or business development experience.
•Knowledge and experience with Federal and State environmental regulatory programs, with highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
