Key Responsibilities

•Pair with an experienced engineer who will guide and mentor you through your initial period working on live projects.
•Assist in developing designs and specifications through different stages, attending site, meetings and workshops with clients and other design professionals.
•Take on more responsibility in managing projects from inception through to completion as you develop.
•Work on pavement design, materials specification, construction supervision, sustainability and carbon reduction, asset management and materials research and development.
•Have opportunities to work on a wide variety of local and international projects.

Key Requirements

•BEng in Civil Engineering, 2:1 (or equivalent)
•Preferably experienced in pavement design, materials specification, asset management and research
•Good Microsoft Office skills essential such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external clients, both verbally and in writing with the confidence to engage with a variety of people (clients, colleagues, stakeholders and sub-contractors alike) and the aptitude to rationally explain, explore and discuss technical issues and capture feedback
•Enthusiastic, hard-working, with ambition and drive
