Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee instrumentation and control (I&C) construction activities on a major EPCM refinery project, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, and schedule achievement across assigned work areas.
  • •Supervise I&C contractors’ manpower and ensure compliance with HSES policies, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Ensure contractors adhere to AFC drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans (ITPs), procedures, and site instructions.
  • •Supervise and coordinate instrumentation construction activities including instrument installation, impulse tubing, cable tray installation, cabling, junction boxes, marshalling cabinets, control system interfaces, and field instrumentation works.
  • •Monitor progress and conduct site inspections/surveillance, supporting inspection, testing, loop checking, and pre-commissioning preparation while reporting and resolving technical issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, ideally in an Instrument Supervisor role on major EPCM projects in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or power.
  • •Minimum 10 years working on live plant and projects including greenfield, brownfield, turnaround, shutdown, or revamp within industrial facilities.
  • •Extensive experience managing instrumentation and control construction activities in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation, or similar process industries.
  • •Strong knowledge of instrumentation drawings and documents including loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, instrument indexes, and project specifications.
  • •Experience supervising instrumentation installation and related activities such as cable termination, tubing installation, calibration, loop checking, and pre-commissioning.
