Key Responsibilities

•Own IPO readiness and public governance for global workforce practices, including SEC/public filing compliance and remediation of historical employment liabilities.
•Mature and scale the employment law function with preventative, highly structured legal operations (templates, policy playbooks, compliance trackers).
•Serve as principal legal sounding board to executives and the Board for cross-border expansions, reorganizations, reductions in force, and high-exposure litigation/regulatory investigations.
•Establish and fortify global labor and worker classification frameworks (independent contractor vs. employee) and proactively manage labor relations strategy.
•Partner with executive stakeholders to align workforce risk with business objectives and oversee workplace investigation protocols and culture safeguarding.

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in good standing.
•12+ years of employment law experience, including leading a corporate employment law department or serving as a senior partner at an international law firm or corporate legal department.
•Experience designing and scaling cross-border employment law frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, with deep expertise in US multi-state compliance.
•Proven experience managing and developing senior legal talent across multiple international jurisdictions.
•Strong analytical/problem-solving and excellent verbal and written communication for board-level guidance.
