Job Summary

Own the technical lifecycle of new manufacturing equipment for the CSMC Capital Projects organization. Lead CEPO engineering activities including specification and requirements documentation, 2D/3D drawing review, EHS compliance, and pre-installation requirements. Drive machine SAT/FAT runoffs, commissioning support, and engineering troubleshooting, while providing hands-on startup support and coordinating tooling, fixtures, and vendor engineering. Partner cross-functionally to align process improvements and readiness for production.

Key Responsibilities

•Own CEPO engineering activities including IR inputs, specification creation, requirements documentation, and technical coordination.
•Lead machine drawing review (2D/3D) to ensure design compliance, manufacturability, and interface requirements.
•Ensure EHS compliance throughout engineering phases and own pre-installation requirements such as foundation drawings, utility requirements, and supplier coordination.
•Lead/participate in machine SAT/FAT activities, close punch-list actions, and provide engineering oversight and troubleshooting during installation, prove-out, and startup.
•Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing engineers during equipment readiness and transformation, and coordinate fixtures, tooling, and equipment interface requirements for new machinery.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or a related field with at least 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years in a related environment.
•Experience reading and interpreting equipment drawings, part prints, and facility layouts.
•Experience supporting machine installations, equipment startup, or manufacturing engineering processes.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project.
•Demonstrated ability managing multiple technical priorities and communicating with engineering, operations, and supplier teams to solve technical problems.
