Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop the sales team by setting clear direction, coaching performance, and building accountability.
  • •Build and execute growth plans to win new customers and expand share of wallet through solution selling.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional programme execution in Kenya, managing milestones, timelines, risks, and delivery outcomes.
  • •Own commercial performance by delivering net sales, gross profit, margin, and volume objectives using data for pricing, forecasting, and pipeline priorities.
  • •Grow strategic customers and channels by managing key accounts and leading negotiations while developing distributors.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional delivery by partnering with Technical Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service to accelerate customer projects.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, food science, food technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) with knowledge of food ingredients, processes, and applications.
  • •Strong B2B sales and new-business development experience in food ingredients, flavours, beverage ingredients, or a comparable solution-based ingredient business.
  • •Proven people leadership experience leading and developing a commercial or customer-facing team.
  • •Experience managing strategic/global key accounts and distributors, with strong understanding of pricing, gross profit, margins, net sales, and product mix.
  • •Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables; fluent English and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
