Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and expand Figshare and Symplectic Elements business within the Americas.
  • •Conduct pre-sales prospecting, product demonstrations, and presentations tailored to prospect needs.
  • •Lead new and upsell opportunities through the full sales process, including negotiation of terms and contracts.
  • •Maintain accurate sales activity and deal records in CRM systems.
  • •Monitor market and competitor activity, contribute to RFPs, and share field insights to improve marketing and product strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably with SaaS models and academic repositories (CRIS/RIMS).
  • •Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a designated territory.
  • •Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management, including CRM usage and sales prospecting tools.
  • •Ability to communicate, present, and negotiate effectively, including explaining technical products or services.
  • •Experience contributing to RFPs and collaborating with internal RFP, product, and customer teams.
