Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to maintain a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
  • •Provide status on work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure needed resources are available.
  • •Confirm daily material supply availability and prepare purchase requests based on master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • •Troubleshoot MRP system-generated exceptions, take corrective action on unfavorable trends, and resolve material shortages with program support staff.
  • •Conduct quarterly physical inventory cycle counts, expedite parts movement via move orders/stock transfers, and perform material movement as needed for factory build and pack/ship areas.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years.
