Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage outreach to municipal, county, and state government officials, government agencies, and community organizations as the primary stakeholder point of contact.
  • •Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including working with county emergency operations directors, participating in emergency exercises, and providing training for assigned storm roles.
  • •During emergency events, manage a Public Liaison Officer team to ensure compliance with the company’s emergency response plan and related metrics.
  • •Serve as economic development lead for business attraction projects by collaborating with business areas to develop proposals that secure new business customers and increase revenue.
  • •Identify and present politically sensitive issues and opportunities, recommend strategies, and evaluate non-profit organizations for sponsorship and donations while supporting volunteer program events.
