Job Summary

Provide preventative and diagnostic care in patients’ homes as a mobile phlebotomist. Use training to deliver services such as phlebotomy/specimen collection, diabetic retina imaging, ECGs, diabetic foot screenings, and retina exams. Ensure proper sample labeling and coordinate lab drop-off/shipping. Work autonomously with a focus on high-quality, patient-friendly, low-acuity care while using mobile devices and HIPAA-secure messaging for charting and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare for each day by ensuring proper supplies and PPE are available for patients.
•Use modern technology to access the schedule, travel to patient homes, and coordinate care.
•Build warm connections with patients, collect relevant information, and perform requested services.
•Provide patient-centric diagnostic and low-acuity care including phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs.
•Label and manage samples and coordinate drop-off to the appropriate lab or shipment facility.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 45 hourly

Key Requirements

•Previous experience in venipuncture.
•State-required licensure and/or proof of training, plus national certification where state licensure isn’t required.
•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
•Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
•Ability to work independently, travel to patient homes reliably, and physically access/navigate homes (including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds).
