Job Summary

Join the Commercial Lines Legal team to manage legal risk and provide commercially focused advice across Allianz UK. You’ll draft, review, and negotiate insurance distribution and commercial agreements, support broker and partner arrangements, and advise on FCA/PRA and broader financial services regulation. Collaborate with Legal & Corporate Governance and assurance teams, represent the Legal function in forums and initiatives, and manage external legal advisers where needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide legal and regulatory advice to support Allianz UK and its Commercial Lines business.
•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and insurance distribution agreements.
•Advise on regulatory requirements, including FCA and PRA rules and wider financial services legislation.
•Support broker distribution arrangements, remuneration agreements, and strategic commercial partnerships.
•Instruct and manage external legal advisers where appropriate, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective advice.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 75,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Identify, manage, and report legal and regulatory risks in a timely and effective manner.

•Advise on regulatory requirements, including FCA and PRA rules, and wider financial services legislation.
•Be a qualified solicitor or barrister with strong knowledge of financial services regulation (particularly insurance and reinsurance).
