Key Responsibilities

•Part of an international Agile squad with teams in Chennai & Belgium; contribute to development, testing & maintenance of payment applications
•Work closely with BNP Paribas Fortis Tribe Payments team to align on requirements and delivery
•Participate in analysis, design, testing & support activities to ensure payment solutions meet business needs
•Focus on test automation and high-quality software delivery across the project
•Design test cases, prepare test datasets, build and maintain automation frameworks, and develop automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in QA Automation & Java (7.1-9 years in the posting)
•Proficiency with Java 8 and Java 17, OOP concepts
•Experience with REST API, XML & JSON testing
•Familiarity with test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD, Karate; and build tools like Maven
•Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker)
•Strong understanding of STLC & testing methodologies; banking & payments domain knowledge
•Strong communication and fluent English
•Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent
