Job Summary

Lead treasury operations and drive transformation for a FTSE-listed rail and coach business. Own daily liquidity monitoring, cash positioning, FX trading, RCF drawdowns, and intercompany payments while rebuilding the 13-week cashflow forecasting process. Deliver a treasury banking automation program (including D365 integration and a new cash management platform), strengthen controls and governance (including Provision 29), and redesign the operating model as you onboard and coach a Treasury Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

•Own day-to-day group treasury operations including liquidity monitoring, cash positioning, FX trading, RCF drawdowns, and intercompany payments.
•Rebuild the 13-week cashflow forecasting process to enable daily cash positioning, variance commentary, and RCF recommendations.
•Lead treasury banking automation including D365 integration and cash management platform go-live using automation and AI-enabled tooling.
•Strengthen the treasury control environment by owning the treasury controls register, leading Provision 29 governance review, and defining delegation of authority.
•Redesign the treasury operating model, document end-to-end processes, and onboard/coach the incoming Treasury Analyst.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 100,000 - 125,000 annually

•Proven track record in corporate treasury at a listed or near-listed company, with experience personally owning the function.
•Demonstrable experience leading treasury transformation through system implementations, operating model redesign, policy build-out, or controls uplift.
•Player-manager approach: comfortable delivering the work while onboarding and building the team beneath you.
•Strong expertise in payment controls, fraud risk, and governance, with a focus on getting the control environment right.
•Experience building or overhauling cashflow forecasting, with solid FX (spot and forward), RCF management, and bank relationship experience.
