Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and prioritize project tasks and coordinate 3rd-party developers, ensuring effective status reporting throughout assigned projects.
  • •Design, develop, document, and deliver customer POC lab content across Cisco architectures by extracting requirements and creating design and test plans aligned to POC objectives.
  • •Serve as the primary engineer through the POC lifecycle, supporting introduction, build, test, and customer delivery phases while collaborating with engineers across specialties.
  • •Document and plan projects prior to build using standard templates and tools, and justify designs to peer groups.
  • •Act as first point of contact for escalations, coordinate fixes with responsible engineers, update documentation/support knowledge base, and support training for tier 1 & 2 engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •CCNP/CCIE level (or equivalent) experience.
  • •Multi-architecture Cisco experience across enterprise networking, data center, SD-WAN, security, collaboration, and cloud.
  • •AI-assisted engineering skills using Claude Code and Cursor to generate, review, and refine scripts, then apply them end-to-end with Ansible and/or Terraform.
  • •Strong routing, switching, and security background (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, DMVPN, IPSec, NAT, Trustsec, LISP, VXLAN, EVPN, 802.1x).
  • •Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) / Cisco Catalyst Center, and cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) (plus virtualization/test tools).
