Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and mentor a team with expertise in flight-critical software development complying with DO178C.
  • •Coordinate flight software development, verification, and certification for the aerospace powertrain, including motor control.
  • •Define and document streamlined software development and verification processes to support certification of safety critical software and compliance with DO178C.
  • •Collaborate with certification and safety teams to develop the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC).
  • •Oversee SOI audits 1 to 4, qualify tools to DO330, establish KPIs, and continuously monitor and improve processes to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
  • •120 months of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or related role with C programming, aerospace software development (DO-178), safety critical software, and software development life cycle.
  • •Comply with DO178C while coordinating flight software development, verification, and certification for the aerospace powertrain, including motor control.
  • •Develop and document streamlined software development and verification processes for certifying safety critical software and complying with DO178C.
  • •Collaborate with certification and safety teams on the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC) and guide software architecture and design for testing and analysis.
