Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and allocate maintenance tasks to B1 engineers and lead technicians to ensure completion within timelines and in compliance with airline and regulatory requirements.
  • •Monitor shift performance of assigned engineers against planned tasks, and provide guidance and regular feedback to the Shift Manager.
  • •Perform B1 certifying engineer duties: prepare and execute scheduled maintenance, conduct test/inspection tasks, troubleshoot defects, and ensure required documentation and task cards are completed to standard.
  • •Sign off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of authorization, confirming completion of associated documents.
  • •Manage human factors for continuity of critical maintenance tasks, ensure safety measures are followed, and initiate cost-saving projects within B1 scope.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License (unrestricted) and company approvals for Airbus A320/A321, with 2+ years of experience.
  • •2+ years’ experience as a B1 engineer in ABY Base/hangar maintenance, including 1 year in a team leading capacity, with Category C authorization experience.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • •Ability to lead and guide a team of aircraft engineers and technicians.
  • •Fluent English (verbal and written) and technical report writing ability.
