Job Summary

Provide enterprise unified communications engineering support for the AF SCI network in San Antonio, Texas. You will assess UC business processes and customer requirements, implement and optimize UC solutions, and automate workflows. Serve as the engineer for the UC platform, perform acceptance testing and knowledge transfer, monitor system performance with tuning, and submit security patch requests while developing documentation and mentoring USG personnel.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as engineer for the enterprise UC platform and provide local support for the AF SCI UC network.
•Understand and assess AF SCI enterprise UC business processes, tools, and operating model.
•Implement, configure, and optimize AF SCI UC solutions; automate business workflows on the platform.
•Perform acceptance testing, transition, and knowledge transfer to customers and stakeholders.
•Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning; submit formal security patch requests IAW CCMP; develop and document SOPs; provide mentoring for Unified Communication to USG personnel.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High school with 9+ years (or commensurate experience) and at least 2 years working with unified communication solutions.
•TS/SCI clearance required.
•Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
•Current CCNA certification.
•Extensive experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco IP Phones, Cisco Webex Desk/Room, and voice-enabled Jabber clients.
