Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform design and engineering studies for existing/new transmission lines above 100kV.
  • •Direct drawing preparation, develop construction specifications and bid documents, and provide cost estimates.
  • •Evaluate existing lines for NESC compliance and support safety upgrades, modifications, and expert witness testimony.
  • •Develop project scoping, basis of design, and project control documents; produce preliminary designs, cost and schedule estimates.
  • •Coordinate project management activities and work with drafting, real estate, construction crews, contractors, and external firms; assist with permitting and review external customer plans/specs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • •EIT certification or active commitment to pursue EIT in Illinois and/or Missouri.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or active commitment to pursue in Illinois and/or Missouri.
  • •New graduates will be considered.
  • •PLS-CADD design software experience is preferred.
