Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in optimization of ByteDance LIVE business and support the LIVE experience for billions of global users.
  • •Adopt cutting-edge machine learning models to improve business metrics, including LIVE revenue and LIVE content quality.
  • •Build model-driven and data-driven approaches for automated operations to improve TT Live supply efficiency and effectiveness.
  • •Discover and handle inappropriate user behavior and business anomalies to support steady and persistent operation of TT Live business.
  • •Collaborate in product/business discussions to analyze user behavior patterns and provide optimization directions.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a PhD in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
  • •Familiar with commonly used machine learning and deep learning algorithms (e.g., DNN, NLP, CV).
  • •Hands-on experience with at least one of Flink, Spark, or Hive, with big data parallel processing.
  • •Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a strong math foundation (probability, statistics, numerical optimization).
  • •Preferred: experience with large-scale recommend/advertising systems, risk control systems, or LLMs.
