Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage access and gate entry control, monitor the building using video systems, and handle alarm and emergency call systems.
  • •Provide key and access-right management for guests and external partners, including key administration and lock service.
  • •Conduct security inspections per operating rules, including checks of people entering/leaving operational areas plus locker and vehicle checks.
  • •Coordinate external rescue and security services during alarm events and implement theft prevention measures.
  • •Support incident response by securing evidence, writing reports, observing suspicious individuals, intervening during criminal actions, and performing first aid and fire safety measures as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully complete the Sachkundeprüfung under §34a GewO (ideally).
  • •Have additional qualifications in first aid and/or fire protection.
  • •At least 2 years of professional experience handling people and administrative tasks.
  • •Demonstrate teamwork, high readiness to perform, and physical and psychological resilience for shift work.
  • •Be willing to complete Zalando’s internal Security training (“Zalando Security”) and continuously build knowledge and skills.
