Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure SSD hardware meets firmware, system, performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
  • •Define system architecture and requirements for SSD solutions, including build reviews and product planning.
  • •Perform SI/PI analysis, simulation, validation, and characterization, and present results and recommendations.
  • •Own SSD hardware development across the product lifecycle, including simulations, worst-case analysis, component derating, validation, and production support.
  • •Provide technical leadership and mentorship, leveraging AI-based tools to accelerate build, validation, and debug workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hardware build experience in SSD, storage, or high-performance computing systems.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • •Experience with board bring-up, soldering, hardware debugging, and schematic/layout review.
  • •Strong SI/PI expertise, including time-domain/frequency-domain analysis and high-speed PCB routing reviews.
  • •Experience with PCIe compliance equipment and validation methodologies, plus mentorship/leadership capabilities.
