Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary interface between site quality/operations teams and the central supplier quality organization
  • •Support site operations, Quality Clinics, program management, and Tier meetings for business units
  • •Represent supplier quality in site and Corrective Action Board (CAB) reviews; manage quality risk through waivers, risk release approvals, and containment
  • •Conduct supplier approval and surveillance; verify suppliers meet RTX/Collins/customer and regulatory quality requirements
  • •Drive supplier performance metrics and improvement activities, manage RCA/RCCA and problem resolution, and handle supplier quality documents, NPI/work-transfer, audits, and continuous improvement

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an advanced technical discipline or several years of equivalent professional experience, ideally in the defense sector
  • •Qualified external ISO9001 and EN 9100 lead auditor
  • •Good knowledge of common quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, APQP, Risk Management, FAI, and RCCA
  • •Business-fluent written and spoken English and German skills
  • •Independent, goal-oriented work with strong communication and teamwork; willingness to travel (about 50%)
