Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical lead for overhead lines within the Philippines Transmission & Distribution team and provide technical governance for HV/EHV projects.
  • •Lead design and engineering assurance activities for complex overhead line projects, reviewing drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.
  • •Oversee overhead line engineering outputs including routing, profiling, PLS-CADD modelling, sag-tension, clearances, structure spotting, and conductor/insulator selection.
  • •Provide technical input across project lifecycle stages and support feasibility studies such as optioneering and thermal rating.
  • •Mentor and develop engineers, support recruitment/onboarding and upskilling, and develop standards, tools, and checking procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical, Power, Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • •Significant overhead line experience in transmission & distribution projects.
  • •Strong expertise in routing, sag-tension, clearances, conductor selection, and design assurance.
  • •Proficiency in PLS-CADD or equivalent tools.
  • •Experience across project phases from feasibility to construction support, including multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
