Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain the company’s core policy suite, including regulatory compliance, contract approvals, client money/escrow handling, incident reporting, risk management, data protection/privacy (UAE PDPL), whistleblowing, and business continuity.
  • •Build and manage the regulatory compliance calendar across RERA, Mollak, escrow, owners association elections, and statutory audits, escalating upcoming deadlines proactively.
  • •Run insurance renewal tracking with 90/60/30-day alerts and maintain contract lifecycle management with review checklists and expiry alerting.
  • •Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis (5-why/fishbone), classify/log incidents, and track corrective actions to verified closure.
  • •Oversee quarterly internal audit cycle and maintain the risk register and governance reporting, including quarterly risk reports to senior management.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of total experience with 5+ years in GRC, audit, or compliance leadership.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certification preferred.
  • •Direct real estate regulatory exposure in Dubai, including RERA, Mollak, DLD, and owners association regulation.
  • •Proven track record building and rolling out a policy suite, delegation of authority matrix, and compliance program from scratch.
  • •Experience leading toward ISO 9001 certification (and ideally ISO 45001) and running a structured internal audit cycle; full professional proficiency in English (Arabic working proficiency preferred).
