Key Responsibilities

  • •Write, test, and maintain high-quality code examples, recipes, and documentation in the Tinker cookbook.
  • •Partner with users to debug technical issues and optimize fine-tuning pipelines.
  • •Collaborate with research and infrastructure teams to identify and prioritize Tinker developer experience improvements.
  • •Build tools, integrations, and demos that reduce user friction and enable experimentation and model deployment.
  • •Share insights from the field through posts, guides, and talks, and help shape product roadmap and strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) using supervised and reinforcement learning, including tuning hyperparameters.
  • •Experience developing software libraries, especially open-source libraries.
  • •Thoughtful developer experience skills, including developer ergonomics, onboarding, and handling edge cases.
  • •Passion for engaging with open-source communities through code, answering questions, and sharing learnings.
  • •Comfort reasoning about model training, fine-tuning, and inference while discussing tradeoffs between approaches.
