Job Summary

Provide technical support to strengthen Ukraine’s immunization system for vaccine cold chain emergency preparedness. You will conduct Simulation Exercises (SimEx), help deliver Trainer of Trainer and cold-chain staff trainings, and support performance qualification for remote temperature monitoring systems at national vaccine warehouses and facilities. Responsibilities include assessing RTMS reliability, documenting findings, and preparing reports and recommendations for national operators and the Ministry of Health.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support to strengthen contingency plans in vaccine cold chain emergencies for WHO CO VPI.
•Plan and participate in Trainer of Trainer (ToT) trainings and cold chain staff training sessions for PHCCs and other vaccination points, using procured temperature loggers and cold boxes.
•Participate in field work to identify correct and reliable functioning of remote temperature monitoring systems (RTMS) at national operator warehouses per validation protocols.
•Conduct Simulation Exercises (SimEx) for emergency scenarios at warehouses of national vaccine logistic operators and support follow-up meetings and reporting.
•Prepare a brief SimEx summary report for the Ministry of Health/UPHC with key findings and recommendations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 3,600 monthly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, or immunology.
•At least two years of experience in cold chain & vaccine management or vaccine-preventable disease surveillance and immunization.
•Experience conducting SimEx on emergency in cold chain and/or performance qualifications for RTMS in vaccine cold rooms.
•Advanced degree (Master’s level or higher) in public health, epidemiology, or immunology (desirable).
•Excellent communication, report-writing, and analytical skills in English and Ukrainian, including synthesizing complex information into concise outputs.
