Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute test plans to ensure reliability and functionality of automation systems.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
  • •Conduct regular system maintenance, including upgrades, backups, and configuration activities.
  • •Provide training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  • •Document all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems; prepare progress and root-cause analysis reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years working in automation as PLC/RTU programmer and commissioning, preferably on Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure.
  • •Experience with PLC platforms and RTUs such as Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix, Siemens S7-300/S7-400/S7-1500, PCS-7; WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA and TBOX RTU.
  • •Experience with open communication protocols used in automation (Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU, BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQTT, DNP3).
  • •Ability to read documents and drawings related to control systems (P&IDs, layouts, Control Panel Drawings) and troubleshoot wiring issues with strong problem-solving skills.
