Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical partner journey for priority B2B plugins from pitch and readiness assessment through architecture, build, evaluation, submission, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
•Identify plugin use cases and define user journeys/expected behaviors to focus on workflows where ChatGPT or Codex create meaningful user value.
•Write production and sample code; build prototypes/reference implementations and create technical guidance, evals, launch checklists, and debugging tools.
•Debug API contracts and integration issues across OAuth/login, tool invocation, latency, retries, rate limits, observability, data model, and user experience.
•Review partner architectures and plans for API design, scopes/permissions, data handling, safety, privacy, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 197,000 - 280,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4-6 years of professional software engineering experience, strong enough to contribute to the platform while coding hands-on.
•Built and operated production APIs, backend services, developer platforms, apps, plugins, connectors, or integrations; can reason across frontend, backend, auth, reliability, privacy, evaluations, and UX.
•Product sense to distinguish technically working plugins from those genuinely useful to users.
•Communicate clearly with external engineers, product leaders, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
•Ability to make ambiguous partner ideas concrete via runnable prototypes, API contracts, technical specs, and pragmatic implementation guidance.
