Job Summary

Own and evolve the data platform powering Verse’s healthcare software infrastructure. You’ll run the Snowflake platform end-to-end, improve source pipeline reliability and integrations (including CDC, connectors, and ingestion patterns), and ensure data accuracy, quality, governance, and compliance via observability and monitoring. As the technical authority, you’ll lead incident response, shape data architecture and storage for performance and cost, and guide architectural decisions as the platform scales.

•Own and improve the Snowflake platform end-to-end as usage scales.
•Own source pipeline reliability and expansion, including evaluating connections and building net-new integrations.
•Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance through governance, observability, and monitoring.
•Lead pipeline incident response with fast communication and root-cause prevention.
•Improve data architecture and storage to boost performance, reduce costs, and optimize batch workflows as volume scales.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in data engineering, database engineering, or software engineering, owning production data infrastructure end-to-end.
•Deep Snowflake expertise including warehouse configuration, RBAC/role hierarchy design, connector management, cost optimization, and compute-layer performance tuning.
•Expert SQL, dbt, and Python skills for complex, high-performance queries and production-grade pipeline code.
•Experience building and maintaining source pipelines, including CDC via logical replication, Fivetran or Airbyte, custom API ingestion, orchestration, and S3-based ingestion patterns.
•Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, privacy, and observability best practices.
