Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and organize FSQA team activities, ensuring implementation of HACCP, SSOP, and food safety procedures.
  • •Supervise QA staff, including managing schedules and timekeeping systems.
  • •Promote safety and compliance by coordinating training and reporting unsafe acts to prevent incidents.
  • •Train plant personnel on quality programs through classroom and hands-on instruction.
  • •Collaborate with USDA and site teams, resolve issues using root cause analysis, and support audits and customer programs (backup for QA Manager).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science (or similar) or three (3) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • •GFSI (BRC specifically) training preferred.
  • •Supervisory experience, preferably in poultry processing or slaughter operations.
  • •Understanding of USDA and OSHA regulations.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
