Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute and monitor end-to-end Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, verification, exception handling, and timely payment processing per policy and vendor terms.
  • •Perform 3-way matching (PO, invoice, GR/IR) for PO invoices and ensure correct coding and approvals for non-PO invoices.
  • •Ensure AP transactions are processed accurately and timely in SAP with appropriate documentation and compliance to internal controls.
  • •Support month-end closing (AP accruals, GR/IR clearing, account reconciliations) and prepare AP aging reports, exception summaries, and payment forecasts.
  • •Act as a key point of contact for regional stakeholders, procurement teams, and vendors; support audits and help implement process improvements, SOPs, and control enhancements while training junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •More than 5 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
  • •Strong understanding of AP processes and controls, including PO and non-PO invoice handling, account coding, tax treatment, and GR/IR clearing.
  • •Experience using SAP ERP (invoice processing/workflow knowledge; exposure to Ariba is a plus).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups) and comfort working with large data sets; progress toward a professional qualification (ACCA/CPA) is an added advantage.
