Job Summary

Own month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and variance analysis across balance sheet and income statement accounts. Lead revenue and deferred revenue close processes and ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. Serve as a Campfire SME to modernize close, reconciliation, and revenue workflows through automation and AI-enabled solutions, and partner with FP&A on deferred revenue analysis, forecasting inputs, and variance explanations while supporting annual audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis across balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
•Maintain and enhance revenue recognition processes, owning revenue and deferred revenue close activities including journal entries and reconciliations aligned to ASC 606.
•Serve as the Campfire SME and use the platform to automate and accelerate close, reconciliation, and revenue processes.
•Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions for revenue schedule automation, reconciliations, and anomaly detection across accounting workflows.
•Partner with FP&A for deferred revenue analysis, forecasting inputs, and variance explanations, and drive the annual financial statement audit support and compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA a plus.
•4-6+ years of accounting experience with ownership of month-end close and exposure to revenue recognition (SaaS or technology environment preferred).
•Strong working knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 as applied to SaaS revenue models.
•Experience with Campfire and NetSuite (or similar platforms).
•Genuine interest in leveraging AI tools (Claude, Copilot, or similar) for process automation or accounting workflows.
