  • •Manage the Basingstoke team technically and pastorally, including resourcing meetings, workload, and utilisation expectations.

  • •Contribute to People, Clients & Growth, Operations, and Technical Excellence pillars and support pillar leads.
  • •Supervise junior colleagues, coach skill development, and support preparation of bids, fee proposals, and project programmes.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with local authorities on active travel, public transport, scheme development, transport studies, strategies and appraisals (development management, statutory consultation and planning appeals is desirable).
  • •Experience preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans and providing design advice to developers and architects.
  • •Strong numerical and analytical skills with working knowledge of MS Office and Excel, transport data analysis/presentation, and transportation software including TRICS and junction modelling programmes.
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with clients and stakeholders and present at meetings, workshops, and public forums.
  • •Project management experience including reviewing briefs and tenders, developing fee proposals, leading delivery, supervising workloads, delegating tasks, and managing client expectations.
