Job Summary

Build and modernize next-generation SAP ERP capabilities for Zalando’s retail domain. Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and enhance complex retail applications using deep SAP Materials Management (MM) expertise to optimize core operations.
•Develop, test, and debug full-stack solutions in ABAP Cloud (RAP) and SAP CAP (Node.js) for the S/4HANA landscape and BTP extensions.
•Design and implement cloud-native extensions and integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite components such as CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, and Workzone.
•Safeguard core system integrity by building side-by-side extensions on the SAP BTP Cloud Foundry runtime environment.
•Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members, including internal presentations on emerging technologies and evaluating automation/business AI scenarios.

Key Requirements

•6+ years developing complex SAP applications in an S/4HANA environment.
•Strong skills in Object-Oriented (OO) ABAP plus OData services and CDS Views.
•Hands-on experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and how it integrates in large-scale retail systems.
•Experience with modern SAP extension frameworks such as ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and/or SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
•Ability to adapt to changing requirements and continuously learn new skills.
