Key Responsibilities

  • •Design comfort control and automation systems for projects.
  • •Review contract documents (mechanical plans, specifications, estimates, equipment submittals) and incorporate them into the automation system design.
  • •Conduct on-site project surveys within the district to determine control solutions when needed.
  • •Create installation drawings, submittal drawings, and sequences of operations; transition these documents to the field.
  • •Produce as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals, assist with transition to the service department, and support customer satisfaction through investigation and corrective action.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Engineering Technology, or equivalent/related experience.
  • •Preferred experience in the HVAC industry such as technician, project management, or estimating (or an equivalent education/work combination).
  • •Windows operating system and Microsoft Office product knowledge.
  • •Familiarity with the operation and design of HVAC systems, building automation systems, and/or temperature controls.
  • •Experience with CAD programs and a basic understanding of electrical drawings and schematics (preferred).
