Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, drives, and related truck equipment using specialized tools and diagnostic methods.
•Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test instruments and handheld devices; road test vehicles to verify repairs.
•Identify problems and evaluate information to determine appropriate solutions while maintaining safety and quality standards.
•Manage parts inventory on the service truck and document work performed, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders; ensure timely procurement of necessary parts.

Travel: High travel

Salary: USD 26.73 - 40.1 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED with 3 years related experience, or alternative combination including higher level degree/certification in a related discipline, or 5 years related field experience.
•At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment
•Must possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
•OEM training and certifications are preferred
•Must be able to pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical; valid DOT medical card may substitute if valid >4 months
