Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, steering, engine, transmission, clutch, differential, A/C, and other truck equipment.
  • •Inspect, test, and evaluate defective equipment using instruments and road testing to confirm correct operation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and daily pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work performed, parts used, and findings on repair orders, including DOT forms, and upload required pictures using company iOS device and the TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience (or an equivalent combination such as additional degree/certification or 5 years’ experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply the required set of hand tools to perform job duties.
  • •Possess and maintain a current DOT medical card (or complete a DOT physical if required), and complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening.
  • •Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid state-of-residence driver’s license; be able to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
