Key Responsibilities

  • •Keep data center MEP systems in peak operating condition by collaborating with engineers, managers, and internal customers.
  • •Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure including chilled-water plants, CRAH/CRAC, pumps, valves, piping, and associated controls.
  • •Operate and support electrical and backup-power systems including switchgear, lighting/distribution, motors, UPS, generators, and automatic transfer switches.
  • •Conduct daily inspections, verify setpoints, proactively self-report deficiencies, and respond to alarms from BMS and electrical power monitoring systems.
  • •Perform hands-on work (disassembly, inspection, cleaning, troubleshooting, reassembly, testing), coordinate shutdowns/lockout-tagout, and maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • •3+ years operating or maintaining HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or data center critical-infrastructure systems.
  • •Knowledge of data center cooling (chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC, chilled water), plumbing, and UPS/switchgear operations.
  • •Experience writing and executing MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs in a mission-critical or industrial environment.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems down to the component level.
