Key Responsibilities

  • •Design aerodynamics for unmanned air vehicles/missiles across conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design maturities.
  • •Conduct aerodynamics analysis using low/high order methods and develop/improve analysis tools as needed.
  • •Perform stability and control analysis and contribute to trajectory optimization for performance, trades, and sensitivities.
  • •Contribute to aerothermodynamic analysis for flight in high-speed environments and support aircraft performance modeling and simulation.
  • •Plan and execute wind tunnel and flight tests, including analysis of results and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or higher in Aerospace Engineering
  • •Experience with aerodynamic analysis techniques including hand calculations, lower-order codes, and CFD

  • •Experience preparing formal documentation (specifications, test procedures, technical reports)
  • •Be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
