Key Responsibilities

•Assist the General Counsel, the legal department, and senior management with a variety of legal issues related to the ActiveCampaign family of businesses.
•Draft, negotiate, and review various contracts, including customer and vendor contracts, strategic partnership agreements, NDAs, master services agreements, and license agreements, among others.
•Serve as legal advisor to various internal departments and committees as requested.
•Assist with the maintenance and oversight of relationships with external counsel as required.
•Work closely with revenue operations and legal operations teams to improve and refine contractual workflows for optimal efficiency, automating processes where applicable to streamline and improve existing contract workflows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 168,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4-year college degree and a Juris Doctorate; active membership in good standing with a State Bar.
•3+ years of experience as an attorney, focusing on transactional, commercial, or corporate law, preferably with a SaaS or technology company.
•Proven experience negotiating contracts across a range of risk and value levels.
•Familiarity with contract management software (e.g., Ironclad and/or Zip) and experience designing/maintaining contract resources and playbooks.
•Experience advising clients with global operations and familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
