Provide strategic civil engineering technical leadership for data centre projects across EMEA, supporting site due diligence, masterplanning, and detailed design through construction support. Lead, review, and approve civil infrastructure designs and specifications for earthworks, drainage, pavements, access, and utility infrastructure. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure technical excellence, resilience, and compliant delivery, while mentoring civil engineers and strengthening the civil capability in the data centres sector.

•Provide strategic civil engineering leadership and technical governance for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
•Lead, review, and approve civil engineering infrastructure designs and specifications, developing buildable solutions for site development and related civil works.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary civil and technical specialists across UK and global teams to support delivery of the project portfolio.
•Support client engagement, business development, and sector thought leadership within the data centres market.
•Mentor and develop civil engineers to enhance technical capability and delivery excellence in the Data Centres sector.

•Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
•Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or equivalent) or operating at chartered level with leadership and professional authority.
•Extensive experience delivering complex civil infrastructure projects, ideally in data centres, mission-critical, or large-scale developments.
•Strong knowledge of planning, highways, drainage, and utility approval processes.
•Proven track record operating as Design Lead / Principal Technical Authority within multidisciplinary teams.
