Job Summary

Design and build scalable backend platform services that expose AI and automation capabilities as reliable production-grade APIs. Key Responsibilities

•Design and maintain RESTful, versioned APIs with deterministic, validated response schemas suitable for enterprise consumption.
•Implement streaming delivery patterns (SSE/chunked HTTP) and asynchronous background job patterns for non-blocking AI outputs.
•Build authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC/scopes) and enforce data controls, filtering, and guardrails.
•Integrate event-driven architectures and orchestration (Azure Service Bus, SQS, Kafka) including polling and webhook callbacks.
•Operate production-grade platform capabilities: audit logging, structured logging/monitoring (Datadog/Azure Monitor/CloudWatch), drift detection hooks, and Kubernetes deployments (AKS/EKS).

Key Requirements

•7+ years of backend engineering experience with Python, with proven delivery of AI/ML, GenAI, and agentic systems into enterprise production environments.
•Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS AI services, including strong expertise in Databricks (MLflow, Delta Lake, Model Serving).
•Strong knowledge of designing clean, versioned APIs and distributed systems, including asynchronous patterns, background processing, and message-based architectures.
•Experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes, managing infrastructure with Terraform, and using observability, structured logging, and monitoring.
•Experience working in regulated environments with auditability, data controls, security, and compliance as core requirements.
