Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead health and safety performance across a major project site.
  • •Partner with project leadership to identify, assess, and manage project risks.
  • •Develop, implement, and review project HSE plans, emergency response plans, and safe work systems.
  • •Conduct site inspections, audits, plant and equipment inspections, and lead inductions, pre-starts, toolbox talks, and workforce engagement.
  • •Support incident investigations, corrective actions, lessons learned, deliver safety training and mentoring, and manage safety reporting and contractor compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience leading project-based health and safety across large-scale construction, infrastructure, resources, or industrial projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and contractor management.
  • •Demonstrated capability leading investigations, audits, and site safety programs.
  • •Confidence influencing project teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders in safety performance.
  • •Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum); additional H&S, engineering, or related qualifications and Lead Auditor/ICAM investigator qualifications are advantageous.
