Key Responsibilities

  • •Support firmware development, testing, and integration for connected home and V2X/power management products.
  • •Develop firmware/software for embedded systems and microcontrollers, including integrating and testing embedded tools.
  • •Support firmware/software development workflows using code repositories, code reviews, build servers, Agile, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • •Support Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing and associated automation using lab tools.
  • •Contribute to CI/CD through participation in build automation workflows and support product enhancement based on new technology evaluations.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or similar) with graduation no later than August 2029.
  • •Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • •Eaton will not support employment immigration sponsorship or plans such as CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, or I-485 portability.
  • •Relocation is not provided; the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA.
  • •Preferred: experience with GitHub; experience with C/C++ and Python; exposure to RTOS-based embedded microcontroller development; exposure to SPI, I2C, UART (or similar).
