Key Responsibilities

  • •Orchestrate daily activities and work allocation for a team of R&D technicians, setting priorities and adapting to rapid changes.
  • •Build, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies for AUVs while following safety procedures.
  • •Use hand tools, assembly tooling, and general manufacturing equipment to support vehicle build activities.
  • •Complete daily transactions in computer production systems (MES, NetSuite, JIRA).
  • •Interface with engineering and production stakeholders to provide technical feedback, progress updates, and resolve roadblocks to timely R&D completion.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of electronics experience in an R&D environment.
  • •Ability to execute R&D tasks with limited oversight while adapting to changing priorities.
  • •Experience building and troubleshooting cables and wiring harnesses, including soldering and assembling cables and connectors.
  • •Comfort reading electrical system/component schematics and using electronics test equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, data acquisition).
  • •Familiarity with the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production) and LEAN manufacturing principles.
