Ensure safety compliance, support spares inventory, and maintain certified electrical worker status.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform electrical maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical breakdowns, and return equipment to proper operating order in minimum time.
•Execute preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and assist operators when necessary, including troubleshooting without available drawings.
•Use PLC logic to troubleshoot, modify existing PLC programs, write new logic for new PLC programs, and apply working knowledge of AC/DC drive systems.
•Develop and revise electrical and mechanical drawings, manage projects through the full life cycle, and update machine drawings using industry-standard symbols.
•Maintain Amcor Certified Electrical Worker status, support special projects (installations, modifications, safety improvements), and follow lockout/tag out and EHS programs.

Key Requirements

•2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience and strong knowledge of electrical systems, including distribution, circuits, wiring, fuses, switches, and relays.
•Ability to understand PLCs, including ladder logic, I/O, and machine control devices, and troubleshoot/repair equipment as needed.
•Minimum two-to-three years of technical training and the ability to read schematics and blueprints across electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
•Certification in NFPA 70E (or certifiable) and AutoCAD/E drawing knowledge.
•AAS in a Mechanical/Electrical field (preferred).
