Key Responsibilities

  • •Author the GSOC plan and policy, including functions, incident severity matrix, communication templates, and service level agreements.
  • •Design global incident- and event-specific response protocols and create operator and business-facing playbooks.
  • •Define and obtain approval for incident response tooling/channels and information-only employee advisory paths.
  • •Partner with Legal, Communications, HR, and Employee Relations to align on notification thresholds and obligations.
  • •Design and roll out a scalable on-call rotation and call tree, assist during incidents, and run tabletop exercises/after-action reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional experience in GSOCs, security operations, emergency/crisis management, business continuity, incident command, or a related field.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • •Authored security/safety/emergency response policy that was formally approved and adopted by an organization.
  • •Served as Incident Commander (or equivalent command role) during live incidents.
  • •Working knowledge of ISO 22320:2018 and/or an equivalent incident command system (ICS/NIMS) and severity/tiering frameworks.
